The CLIHC’s registration system is available in October 2021. As the conference will be held online, the costs of running it are lower than if it were in person, but we still need to cover publication and technical support costs.

Thus, we will have different registration fees, as described below:

Author registration: $50 US dollars.

At least one of the authors for each paper should register -under the specific fee for authors - to be able to publish their paper in the ACM digital library. Regarding access to conference events, the author registration will work as a full registration. Authors who need financial support will be able to apply for a 50% reimbursement after registration.

Full registration: conference + co-located events: $10 US dollars

Full registration will give attendees access to all conference events and co-located events. Tutorials have limited capacity; therefore, attendees will need to pre-register to be able to join. Workshop participants will be selected by the workshop organizers.

Conference-only individual registration: $4 US dollars

Conference-only registration will allow attending keynotes, paper sessions, panels, and town hall. However, this kind of registration does not include tutorials. Workshop participants will be selected by the workshop organizers.

Author reimbursement

Since we have financial support from the ACM SIGHI development fund, we are able to offer partial registration reimbursement to authors of papers to be presented at CLIHC 2021.

If you are an author and need to request a $25 reimbursement, please fill this form after paying your author registration: https://forms.gle/FrxWgSdpqXJztn9F7

HCI courses reimbursement

Since we have financial support from the ACM SIGHI development fund, we have been able to set an inexpensive registration fee so all Latam HCI researchers and students are able to attend. To encourage that more undergrad and graduate students participate, we are also offering registration reimbursements to HCI courses that register to attend CLIHC 2021!

If you are teaching HCI in Latam and want to attend along with your students (at least 5), please send us an email to clihc2021@gmail.com with the subject: course registration telling us your name, the name of your course, and how many students will attend along with you. We will let you know the instructions to make the registration and proceed to get a reimbursement. We will need one person to make the payment for the course registration, so the process of reimbursement works well. Please if you are interested in this, contact us as soon as possible. We have limited resources for this kind of reimbursement, and we will follow a first-come, first-served protocol.
